  4. Companion to the book "Trading on the Edge: Neural, Genetic, and Fuzzy Systems for Chaotic Financial Markets", published by John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
  5. This CD-ROM features:
  6. * all software programs discussed in the book Trading on the Edge,
  7. * a vast number of demo programs supplied by vendors,
  8. * sample market data you can use to build financial applications,
  9. * sample images on trading technology, and
  10. * an overview of the performance of various trading systems.
  11.  
  12. An extroadinary resource for intelligent trading of Financial Markets!
  13.  
  14. QuickStart:
  15. Mac: double click on the Trading.TWC file.
  16. DOS: change to your active drive to the CD-ROm by typing "D:"
  17.      (where D is the letter of your CD-ROM)
  18.      type "Trade" <enter>
  19. Windows: Install the program in d:\windows: twlitew.exe
  20.      or run the installer: D:\windows\install.exe from the
  21.      program manager.  Run TWliteW (TextWare) and DO "File"
  22.      "Open": "Trading on the Edge".

  24. Usage:
  25. Explore the folders/directories:
  26. Mac_Files (Macintosh)
  27. PC_Files (PC Compatible)
  28. Shared (Both Mac and PC)
  29.  
  30. They contain source code, demos, utilities, shareware, market data
  31. , and other financial resources.

  42. There may be files in the directories/folders that are .zip 
  43. or compacted files.  Thses are for your conveinence.  All the 
  44. files have been extracted/unzipped for use off the CD-ROM.

  46. However, some of the programs will need to be correctly 
  47. installed to work and thus will not execute off the CD-ROM.
  48.  
  49. The Trading on the Edge: Investment Navigator will be available soon.
  50. We will notify registered users on availability -- so register!
  51. The Investment Navigator should be available in July-August of 1994.
